The School’s aim is to enhance the quality of environmental governance in India and other south Asian countries by strengthening capacities on issues of environmental legislation, standards, regulation and compliance enforcement.

The School will set up a Water Innovation Information Centre (WIIC) as one-stop information centre for water conservation, water efficiency, decentralised water and wastewater management and technologies.

A School to strengthen and expand understanding on sustainable urban mobility and clean vehicles to help meet clean air goals to protect public health and ensure climate co-benefits.

The School of Communication wants to encourage a robust debate on creating an environmentally-friendly, low energy development model, organically participative and equitable, currently missing in mainstream media.

The Centre will act as a focal point for Southern, cross-country research on key aspects of climate policy and enrich analysis as well as help build capacity in the South in the field of climate policy.
